Harry's Restaurant,

149 Turnpike Road (Route 9), Westborough, 366-8302.

Harry's " one of the few places serving dinner past midnight " bills itself as "the place for fried clams," and the claim's legit. The clams (both with bellies and the sacrilegious strips) are tender and tasty with surprisingly little grease. The same goes for shrimp, haddock, scallops, and shrimp (all available broiled, baked, or Cajun style, too). Harry's also offers barbeque ribs and chicken, pasta dishes, "giant" club sandwiches, and filling dinner platters, all at bargain prices in a fun, laid-back setting.

Price Range: $4 - $12.
